Kafka Catch 22 and the sport of streaking revisited

Kafka, the source of many a pseudo-intellectual Starbucks conversation, forgot to adhere to the Power of Positive Thinking me thinks. I post here happily with this group, who have a bit of a brighter outlook, lest I fall into the trap that Franz alluded to when he wrote that a non-writing writer is a monster courting insanity. How about the maze of Catch 22 Yossarian Logic?- Let me see if I’ve got this straight: in order to be grounded, I’ve got to be crazy and I must be crazy to keep flying. But if I ask to be grounded, that means I’m not crazy any more and I have to keep flying.

Reminds me of when I was a lad “streaking” and was being chased by the local gendarmerie. I ran all the faster realizing that if caught and asked for an ID, I would have to honestly say I didn’t have my wallet on me. The wild heart of the young.
