in small chunks

I agree with my paperback hero, my old beach bum and philosopher friend, Travis McGee who spent his money as he made it taking his retirement as he would say “in small chunks” as he went along. If you are waiting for one big grand finale when you make up for not doing it along the way, you may be surprised to find that things can change quickly and in ways you couldn’t have dreamed. People die every day and trust me, they weren’t intending to; so remember yourown vacation land in your dreamsand visit there as often as you can.

I alsoconcur withand love an old African tradition that states if you think or dream something then it probably has happened or will happen somewhere, some time. That works for me because I would be sorely disappointed if all of those wonderful dreams I’ve had went to waste.

Don’t wait for your fate.
